Kent's Fest

Art Club members designed a banner and props for the BAMS learning support classroom. Students used these props to perform their jungle song at the 2019 Kent's Fest. They won best performance. Way to go, dancers! We are proud of you.

Motivational Posters

Art Club members recognized the cafeteria was the perfect blank canvas for their next endeavour! They set out to create positive and motivational banners for all students to appreciate. They did an amazing job bringing  joy to this space!

Pinwheels for Peace

Art Club members and students in 6th- 8th grade participated in the Pinwheels for Peace Project.  In art class we discussed how we can make a public visual statement about our feelings about war, peace and tolerance. Students created their art installation in the front entrance of the school.

#What Lifts You

Art Club and BAMS Art students participated in the "What Lifts You" campaign inspired by international street artist Kelsey Montague. Her inspiring murals challenge people to answer the questions "What lifts you?” and "What makes your heart soar?"

Art students painted monochromatic feathers and installed them to make a collaborative mural. Students wrote about their passions and inspirations that "lift" them. My goal was for students to feel confident in themselves and know that the sky's the limit!

World Kindness Day

Happy World Kindness Day!

Art club members created a Be Kind mural where observers were invited to act out the letter "I" or see themselves in the statement by looking at the mirrored "I" paper.

BAMS faculty and students are invited to visit the mural to put the "I" in KIND and reflect on how we can continue to be "Raider Kind".
